The Vancouver Business Journal released their special 2017 Top Projects edition, featuring the year’s most outstanding construction projects across Southwest Washington. PBS was recognized among the engineering/planning consultants for eight (8) of these projects, including Project of the Year: Vancouver Waterfront & Grant Street Pier. Specific projects include:

- Vancouver Waterfront Park
- Vancouver Waterfront Pump Station and Force Main
- IDV Flowserve, Ridgefield
- The Uptown Apartments
- Our Heroes Place
- City of Camas 6th & Norwood Roundabout
The projects represent a diverse range of sectors, including transportation, public works, residential, commercial, and industrial. PBS was recognized for its multi-disciplinary contributions, including civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, surveying, natural resources and permitting, geo-environmental services and/or hazardous materials services.
