ODOT Bend North Corridor

 Bend, Oregon
PROJECT PROFILE
To consolidate the project timeline by several months, PBS worked closely with ODOT, conducting frequent meetings in the office and on-site. Workplans, field work, and reports were fast-tracked to eliminate environmental uncertainties, reduce costs, and provide critical data to the design-build team.
Brian Kelly, Sr. Environmental Project Manager

PBS completed Phase II investigations in support of ODOT’s Bend North Corridor Project in Bend, Oregon. PBS assisted ODOT with identifying potential sources of contamination within the project area by completing a multitude of Phase II activities, including subsurface soil sampling, shoulder soil sampling, geophysical surveys, and drywell/drill hole sediment characterization. Aerial Drone Surveys were conducted of the project area, and the imagery collected was used to provide the most up-to-date GIS basemap.  PBS has continued on the project team and is now completing environmental compliance inspections for ODOT.
