PBS managed the environmental compliance and waste management aspects for the deconstruction of the Elwha and Glines Canyon Dams located in the Olympic National Park, near Port Angeles, WA. Documentation was prepared to meet state, federal, and tribal requirements under U.S. Department of Interior/National Parks contract.

Sampling plans, laboratory reports, and QA/QC testing documentation was reviewed by both the NPS and Bureau of Reclamation to meet restoration requirements. PBS completed soil characterization testing at the project areas of concern impacted by lead, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), and petroleum hydrocarbons.
