PBS Engineering and Environmental, Inc (PBS) was again ranked among the Top 500 Design Firms by Engineering News Record for 2017. At position 427, the firm elevated 30 points higher from their initial debut on the nationally-recognized list last year.

Founded in 1982 in Portland, Oregon, PBS has grown to house more than 200 professionals in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The firm specializes in engineering, environmental, and surveying services, and practices in 11 offices throughout the Pacific Northwest.

ENR is a leading engineering and construction publication that provides engineering and construction news, analysis, commentary and data. ENR reports on the top design firms, both architects and engineers, and the top construction companies as well as projects in the United States and around the world.

The Top 500 Design Firm list is published each May based on surveys conducted by ENR of companies that specialize in general and specialty contracting, engineering and environmental services, and other disciplines. The top 500 companies are then ranked from 1 to 500 based on annual revenue from work both domestic and abroad.
